Yang holds a Master art degree in Public Art & New Artistic Strategies at Bauhaus University Weimar in Germany. Prior to that, she completed the Gallerist Programme at the De Appel Arts Centre in Amsterdam (2013) and holds a Bachelor degree from Chelsea College of Art & Design, University of the Arts London in London (2008).

With a specific interest in cultural exchange and relational aesthetics, she has conducted several research trips at institutions, such as in the Taipei Fine Arts Museum (2013), KW Berlin (2012) and Fukuoka Asian Art Museum (2009). Yang has also curated numerous exhibitions and public talks internationally. Her recent curated projects include: Sonic Territories (2019), Berlin/ Kinmen; Meet Me At The Newsstand (2016), Weimar; Outer Market History in Motion (2016), Paris and Wymiana/ Exchange at local_30 (2015), Warsaw. The most recent public talk was titled Transforming Trauma Through Art February 28 Massacre, 1947 at the Goethe Museum in Weimar Germany. She was invited to give a speech at Xue Xue Institute Taipei, De Appel Arts Centre Amsterdam and Asia Art Archive at the Art Basel Hong Kong.

Her recent practice focuses on Taiwan mythology and Buddhist Taoism religious ceremony. Her performances were shown at Kunsthaus Dresden (2016) and Palais am Festungsgraben as part of the 2nd Berliner Herbsalon hosts at Maxim Gorki Theater (2015). 

She lives and works in Taipei & Berlin.



楊凱婷

台灣新生代藝術家、策展人，大三赴英國倫敦留學，攻讀新媒體藝術，之後在歐洲做了十年獨立策展，獲教育部公費留學獎學金至德國包浩斯藝術學院攻讀公共藝術，旅居英、德15年後返台。

楊凱婷曾在多個國際文化藝術補助獎項中獲得肯定，包括: 駐德辦事處文化部、德國威瑪史博卡森銀行基金會、德國圖寧根州學生會、德國威瑪包浩斯大學創意基金、文化部、當代藝術基金會、國家文化藝術基金會、台北市立文化局、當代藝術基金會、台北歌德學院、英國文化協會。

她亦曾與多位國際知名藝術家一起工作交流，包括曾獲得巴塞爾藝術博覽會藝術獎(Baloise Art Prize)的英籍藝術家克萊爾‧霍普、波蘭籍藝術家寶琳納‧歐羅斯卡、德籍藝術家約翰‧博客、德籍攝影藝術家盧‧布列斯‧盧森堡，以及法籍作曲家奧古斯丁‧毛爾斯等。2015/2016，在德國威瑪成立快閃展演品牌 TING，致力於在公共空間舉行表演、流動性展覽、音樂會等。

目前在柏林、台北居住與生活。
